Great Places in Wisconsin

Celebrate our Great Places in Wisconsin

APA’s Great Places is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate examples from our public spaces in communities around the state – places that were created years ago and developed over time.  We celebrate the hard work and tough choices of elected officials, staff, and community members from years and sometimes decades ago, demonstrating through this award the successful outcomes of those choices to establish and protect these truly special places in our cities.

The Great Places Wisconsin category celebrates places of exemplary character, quality, and planning.  The nominations are judged by a jury of professional planners from outside of Wisconsin and confirmed by the APA-WI Board of Directors.
